Hi,
I have a requirement
in which I need to identify a zombie process and need to restart
it.
From the FAQ given
with I have come to know that Monit can identify a zombie.
But it is not able
to identify a zombie when the monit is run a from a non root
user.
And Monit is able to
restart a zombie as well it just report about the zombie when It is run from
root permission?
I want to know
whether my understanding above is correct or not?
If not please tell
me how to restart a zombie is there any changes has to be done in the control
file or any changes has to be done while configuring the
monit?
Thanks,
N.Bharath.
