Heh, they're almost identical ;)  Perhaps not surprising considering that
monit is a fairly compact program to package. (The above one, however, 
has the advantage of chkconfig magic in %preun and %post, which mine
doesn't)

Well, either way, perhaps you would consider including some kind of spec
in future releases? Unless you make large changes to the structure of
monit, it should generally be trivial to update the spec between versions.

In the meantime, perhaps you could put a link on the monit download page
pointing to the above URL, so that other people can find the spec if they
want it and don't start from scratch again?
