Hi, I've just read about MONIT and find it very interesting and
potentially useful for my final degree project at university. But I need
to know if MONIT is capable of monitoring programs that aren't based on
tcp/ip. For example: is it possible for me to monitor a program (not
necessarily a deamon) and know if it's working, based on the response I get?
The thing is that I'm supposed to monitor a server that has not only
deamons, but other programs that don't listen on any port or anything
like that, and I would like to know if MONIT can do that.
