SMTP auth implementation is must-have feature. If come users are able to use
their own local mailservers, most of them do not meet all needed requirements
for a normal mail server (reverse dns etc.).
Also some of users a still having dynamic IP addresses, most of which are
included into open-relay databases. This means these wanna-be "servers" will
be rejected by reciepient servers.
And some of ISPs gives no relay servers for clients (there are few of those,
but nonetheless). SMTP auth solution would be very much handy indeed.
