Follow-up Comment #2, bugs #12390 (project mldonkey):

please try patch #3867.
for the "localhost:4001", look at the option gtk_client_history in the file
mlgui.ini.
if once you tried to connect to "localhost:4001" (that's the case when you
started a fresh mlgui - "localhost:4001" is the default value in the options
for the mlnet hostname:port), anyway it will be in the hitory list.
But this list was not updated (till you stop mlgui and restart it). The patch
should correct this and even mlgui should try to connect to any hostname:port
that you enter in the config panel.
