Update of bugs #11842 (project mldonkey):
Status: Unreproducible => Wont Fix

Sparse files and zero filling. UFS supports sparse files, which are a way for
the file system to store the data in files without storing unused space
allocated for those files. HFS+ does not support sparse files and, in fact,
zero-fills all bytes allocated for a file until end-of-file.
i guess that seems to explain it.
i don't know what filesystem some of the other mac-os-x-mldonkey-users use,
perhaps you could ask them in the forum.
you could try to enable emulate_sparsefile and disable random_order_download,
that could do the trick for donkey downloads.
