Did you try installing Ocaml manually according to distrib/Install.txt from
MLDonkey before running ./configure?

linux on 2.6.6 with nptl, ocaml 3.07pl2 (as downloaded by mldonkey)
I have talked to pango, he does not have any clues about it. We figured out so
far that ocamlpp.byte does not produce any output when trying to generate
g2Protocol.ml with the following command :
./ocamlpp.byte -pp src/networks/gnutella2/g2Protocol.mlt >
src/networks/gnutella2/g2Protocol.ml

an strace shows that direclty after calling getppid() it does an exit_group(0)
while on other systems it goes right on. So I suspect a bug in the ocamlpp
stuff from /tools/ ???

what os? kernel? mldonkey version? coaml version?
go again to the channel and talk to pango or some1 else, there will be some1
who can help you for sure, just be patient.
i cant tell you what kind of prob u have, but if this would be a bug, no1 could
compile, can they?

I was on #mldonkey and noone could help me. If its not a bug u seem to know
what it is, and can post a quick fix here. I did a configure and then make as
mentioned in the Install.txt file. although I had other options, if it does not
compile, it is definetly a bug.
