Category: GUI
Severity: 5 - Average
Item Group: Program malfunction
Resolution: None
Assigned to: None
Status: Open
Release: 2-5-21
Release:
Platform Version: OpenBSD
Binaries Origin: CVS / Self compiled
CPU type: Intel x86
Summary: mlgui gobbles cpu like mad
Original Submission: Happened for at least a few releases.
mlgui gets into a tight loop where it does NOTHING but eat huge amounts of cpu.
Something over 20% on a PIII 1.2GHz, when mlnet is only using 5% of cpu at the
same time.
Is this something only I am seeing ? which would mean there's a semantic
difference in a select/poll somewhere ?
mldonkey is compiled against lablgtk-1.2.5, ocaml-3.07, gtk+-1.2.10 in case
this matters...
