Please, could you send me the output of the ./configure 
script, and the config/config.log file, so that I can 
understand why the configure script did not detect the 
error.

no special configure-options. ocaml und lablgtk are
both installed. the configure script and "make depend"
seem to work correctly, "make" stops with the quoted error.
