=================== BUG #1088: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=1088&group_id=1409
Submitted by: None Project: mldonkey, a free e-Donkey
client
Submitted on: 2002-Aug-27 15:57
Category: None Severity: 5 - Major
Bug Group: None Resolution: None
Assigned to: None Status: Open
Summary: WISHLIST: run mldonkey in chrooted Environment
Original Submission: I have a small wish: Can mldonkey have 2 command
switches. One for chrooting to a given directory, the second: a userid it
should suid to.
This would be a very nice to have feature, because then I could run mldonkey in
a non-root but chrooted environment. I know, that mldonkey would have to be
installed suid root then, but it should immediatly drop it's priviledges (just
like bind does).
Thanks
