mit-scheme mcrypt module?

Does anyone use the mcrypt module?

There is essentially nothing of security value in it; any value it has
is strictly for compatibility.  If nobody needs it for that, then I
would like to flush it.

(Edwin does not rely on mcrypt for Blowfish to process the obsolete
encrypted password file format.  mcrypt is also not needed for MD5,
which you shouldn't be using anyway except for compatibility.  If you
want to do real cryptography in MIT Scheme, that's a totally separate
issue!)
