   interface for GTK, Gnome, X, OpenGL?

Not much, no.  I hope to remedy this by means of an FFI interface: I
spoke with an undergraduate last week who plans to work on such an
interface this term.  Hopefully something good will come of that
project, in which case it can be used to access the GUI libraries.
