Hello,
I understand that Peter tries to compile the whole mxe on its platform (slax). However, it fails at ocaml. From the log I see, the error comes from the "flexdll" tool, which comes from package "ocaml-flexdll". So it would be worth trying the patch on "ocaml-native" which is used to generate ocaml-flexdll ? I don't know I to help with this problem otherwise. Maybe reporting to flexdll (Alan frish) ? By the way, you wouldn't miss a lot by not being able to compile ocaml packages... I think it's an issue with the ocaml compiler and long strings [1]. Cheers, Tony [1] http://caml.inria.fr/mantis/view.php?id=5920Could you try dropping the attached patches into the src/ directory and try the build again? They're from this bug report: http://caml.inria.fr/mantis/view.php?id=5925 and don't break anything, but I've no way of testing if they fix the issue.Hi Peter, I can confirm that it only happens on 32-bit systems, but those patches don't fix it. To continue with it (and dependents) excluded, run: make ocaml-lablgtk2_BUILD= ocaml-cairo_BUILD= ocaml-camlimages_BUILD= or simply make -k Hi William, I've attached Peter's original log file, could you take a look at it? The patches at: http://caml.inria.fr/mantis/view.php?id=5925 http://caml.inria.fr/mantis/view.php?id=5957 Don't resolve the issue. Thanks, Tony |
