Mmmm... could you try adding

build=x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

to usr/i686-pc-mingw32/share/config.site

as well?

Still same result with:

> cat usr/i686-pc-mingw32/share/config.site
ac_cv_build=x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
build=x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu


Adding the same file to usr/share still does not help.
