It looks like we are very close to getting this to work.Sorry for stopping you on that, but I think I found a simpler solution. ... Tony, Mark, does that solve the issue on all systems?
It builds for me on Linux. Congratulations on getting to the root of the problem.
We did learn a few tricks though our efforts, so it wasn't all for nothing.Would it be better to use -isystem instead of -I for the include directory used in the native glib build? If I understand correctly, this should ensure that "#include <iconv.h>" gets the file from $(1).native/$(libiconv_SUBDIR)/include instead of the standard system include directory.
