According to your log, the build failed with signal 2, i.e. SIGINT,
i.e. it was interrupted via Ctrl+C:

    configure: caught signal 2
    configure: exit 1

So are you sure there is really a bug? It looks more like being
accidently aborted with Ctrl+C.

Please try to rebuild the "theora" package and check whether it
really fails on your system:

    touch src/theora.mk
    make

If it really fails, please provide the new log file and the
new config.log.
