[GMG-Devel] how media goblin is going to be different (better) from Freenet?

I just stumbled upon the Media Goblin project and curios how is it going to be better or different from Freenet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freenet

Wouldn't it be better to focus on improving networks like Freenet instead of developing something from the scratch again?
