Thanks for the responses Thomas and David. This sounds like something people want but doesn't yet exist. When the project gets further along on my end I'll see what development resources I can get to tackle this side of things. If the MapOSMatic devs cannot contribute code, will I be able to count on you guys for guidance/support?

Generating such a booklet format is definitely on our TODO-list, and has the infrastructure to provide user-selected
formats. However, we haven't had the time to write the booklet
generator yet. We welcome patches, of course :-)
