Follow-up Comment #2:
The database check/repair utility is ready and working. To run:
.../scripts/wrapper.py scripts/dbck.py
An additional --dry-run option can be given to only see what would be done
instead of modifying the database.
It has been successfully used on the development instance's database to mark
jobs as obsolete (and fix the missing map_language entries).
