Agree. That cannot be worst than the current state. :-)

But it would very useful to at least have an "Other" category where
all remaining maps are put.

Otherwise, the ideas of Jeroen with character ranges are interesting,
but maybe we need some experiments to see what we obtain with
currently available maps.
