Hi,

I'm a Perl hacker trying to participate in the development and testing of Parrot. Parrot, http://www.parrotcode.org, is the new virtual machine
for Perl6, the next major version of Perl.

Besides running Perl6, Parrot can be used for running a bunch of languages, like Perl5, Phython, Ruby......

The project I have picked is a port of 'GNU m4' to Parrot.
Implementation language is the Parrot Intermediate Language (PIR), which is a kind of high level assembler.

Admittedly I'm not very far yet, but first snapshots are available under http://www.schmalhofer.info/schmalhofer/bernhard/projects/m4/.

As I'm looking deeply into the C-source of GNU m4, I'm also willing to help out with defined programming tasks for GNU m4.

CU, Bernhard
