Hello!
Lynx Version 2.9.2 (31 May 2024)
libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM 1.4.1, OpenSSL 3.4.0, ncurses 6.5.20240427(wide)
Built on linux-gnu (Aug 14 2024 19:16:02).
lynx gopher://taz.de
open some articles and check for double spaces.
I am running lynx on Slackware current to view some gopherholes.
I experience that sometimes German special characters (ä, ö, ß) are
displayed as white space - only sometimes. Normal ASCII characters are
also sometimes affected.
This only happens on that system, Debian or Fedora are fine.
I've checked the traffic and those characters are encoded the same all
time.
