The main difference between those would be the line-numbers embedded in
the po-file. (You might find 1-2 messages which have been added).

yes... most of that is done via the translation project, whose workings
are largely a mystery to me. I did add a paragraph at the bottom of
http://lynx.isc.org/current/index.html
...and see now that it does not appear in the navigation pane.
(I'll fix that).
