If you want, sure.

% env CVS_RSH=ssh cvs -d address@hidden:/cvs get -p \
    src/etc/ssl.certs.shar >ssl.certs.shar

The password for that server is “anoncvs”, but if you send me an SSHv2 public
key, I can have it added to its authorised_keys file by the anoncvs mirror's
administrator, so that you can really script that.

Other method:

% rsync rsync://,v .
% co -u ssl.certs.shar,v

On the other hand, this server is SLOW, they don't often react to mails if
we change something, and co(1) does not correctly expand the $MirOS$ RCS
keyword ;-)

Take one of these. I just tested that both work. ( is in Japan.)
You can, of course, do that and still link to CVSweb (as fallback).

I believe no one can invent an algorithm. One just happens to hit upon it
when God enlightens him. Or only God invents algorithms, we merely copy them.
If you don't believe in God, just consider God as Nature if you won't deny
existence. -- Coywolf Qi Hunt
