Hi,
To see if Lynx for Windows worked fine with Google, I downloaded the
version with an installer from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.jp/lynx-win32-pata/19739/Lynx286dev17TH.exe
and installed it using wine (windows compatibility layer for GNU/Linux).
But when I launch it, I get the following error message:
address@hidden:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Lynx for Win32$
wine lynx.exe
LINES value must be >= 2 and <= 15594: got 0
initscr(): LINES=0 COLS=1: too small.
Is there an easy work around to fix that ? If so, maybe changing the the
LINE value to 2 in the default settings would allow wine compatibility.
I know that's not very important as Lynx packages work quite fine, but
just in case...
Additional info: wine version : Wine 0.9.21
lynx --version: Lynx Version 2.8.5rel.1 (04 Feb 2004)

a uname -a returns:

actually Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake.
