FWIW this displays perfectly on OSX 10.3.9 with dev12.

I also do not get the odd line display from

on the Macintosh, whether using lynx dev.12 in Terminal, or using Terminal to
shell to an OpenBSD/dev.11i build (window size is 102x32 - the BSD is an 80x24
getty).
