The danger is that they make uninformed decisions based on suppressing
the warning message, rather than understanding its significance.
I think the text that accompanied early versions of PGP is appropriate
here. It gives a lot of information about trust and also about how
things that appear to be secure can be completely insecure because
people don't understand what they are doing.
Security it a difficult concept to master and material that tries to
avoid FUD does people a dis-service.
