This is fairly normal, and you see it a lot with sites like yahoo.

Yes.

All of them will be returned to yahoo, and if you go to tv.yahoo.com the
tv.yahoo.com and the .yahoo.com cookies will be returned.

Have a look at rfc 2109 for all the ugly details.
