OK, I'll use it by default for Borland. I recall a 2.8.4rel.1
binary from someone had it set by default to cp437 and worked
fine with all sites I visit.

I don't know why the Borland build doesn't show "ç" and
accentued characters in filenames:

Borland:

Cygwin:

0 Jan  8 21:53 Lynx-ação-ü.txt
file://localhost/cygdrive/g/Lynx-a%E7%E3o-%FC.txt
