lynx-dev bookmarks and eg Hist-Page; illegal; but could bookmk a LINK there, no?

I wanted to bookmark an entrypoint into a site
I was delving into, so I hit backspace to get
the hist-page, moved the cursor to that
entrypoint, and, thinking I could easily
bookmark that LINK, I hit "a" -- and
got a msg back saying that I couldn't
do *any* bookmarking, it seems, via that
hist page.

Sure, can't bookmark the hist page itself,
but a LINK on it?  Should be ok, no?
