Just more history. The "FM" are the initials of the developer who did
the port to VMS and practically all of the development and/or integration
of "versions" 2-4 through 2-6 (much of 2-7, too), where Lynx became a
mature browser. At the time, it ran circles around the fledglings like
Netscape and IE. It was the only browser which could do CJK (=Japanese)
without crashing all the time. Very robust, followed the specs to a 't'
and could be compiled and run on 386 (20MHz) cpu, 4MB memory, 40MB hdd
machines (Linux OS) no sweat.
