lynx-dev 2.8.3rel SSL problems -traces inlcuded

As mentioned earlier, I get intermitant errors logging into Yahoo 
mail using SSL. The problem is they now RequirE SSL to login. This is
despite my protests of a lack of warning, or suggestions for backward
compatibility. Does the latest release fix these problems?

Netscape 4.76 works for both sites. (But then I have to wait for the
graphics to download, the screen to re-draw, and I have to actually
use the mouse..)

Note: I included the CA site trace for information only. After my
initial enquiry into LYNX compatibility (of the alliance site), the
splash page was made even more hostile to LYNX. (maybe they figure
only "commies" use LYNX?)(Update: maybe I was imagining things, but
it is now back to the way it was...) While doing the trace I also
found out that the site still accepts standard HTTP connections :)
