This still does not seem to work, at least for DTD_recovery  tagsoup.
Even if setting the following in lynx.cfg:
ENABLE_LYNXRC:tagsoup:ON
the (!) remains before the option in the
option menu. I can probably save it but it is not reapplied when reloading
LYNX.
