I think it's likely that ncurses is confused by that one, which uses
color #6 for standout.  To make it work properly, it should have an
ncv specified, e.g., ncv#1 in the terminfo entry.  That would tell
ncurses that standout conflicts with the use of color (and it would
try to resolve that).

I generally use 'ansi' on OS/2 (except for telnet'ing in, which uses
less capabilities).
