One of my favorite sites is currently using a cgi chat program
(ralf's chat) for interactive conversations. Right now, it is rather
obnoxious to use with lynx - one goes to one thread to see what's
been written, returns to the 'frame view' selects the talk frame,
submits a response, returns to the top level, returns to the written
responses, etc.
I was wondering if anyone had ever seen or heard of a tool that might
be used in cases like this to serialize a frame. That is, the info
in this page could just as easily be displayed as 1 page showing the
first frame, second frame, and third frame's information serially
provided.
Besides lynx, other PDA based browsers, web phones, web page reading devices,
etc. might benefit from serializing a series of frames in a consistent manner
- particularly if the results retained its html links, etc.
