Known problem (only when compiled with slang), it should be fixed
in lynx2.8.4dev.3 from <http://lynx.isc.org/current/> (I haven't tested).
Workaround: use
TERM=vt100 lynx -source ...
TERM=vt100 lynx -dump ...
