Lynx version 2.8.3dev.18 (06 Jan 2000), on a Linux box.
Problem: I am using lynx in a cron job to download some pages.
I use "lynx -source http://www.whatever.org/"
I get: "Your terminal lacks the ability to clear the screen or position
the cursor."
This also happens if I set TERM=dumb, and run it from the command line.
The same happens with lynx -dump
This behaviour has changed since Lynx Version 2.8.2rel.1 (01 Jun
1999), (on an SGI) which did the right thing.
Best wishes,
Steven Pemberton
