I think I am talking about the same thing as the original poster,
but I could be wrong.

That's from lynx.browser.org, not lynx.isc.org, probably from your
STARTFILE in lynx.cfg.
So you are getting the wrong URL. You shouldn't. I don't, with 2.8.3
or earlier dev code.
