Lynx distribution directory

This directory contains archive copies of the most recent Lynx development source code. We are currently working on Lynx 2.8.3 (or 2-8-3, for VMS).

The Lynx development software is also available via ftp:

DOS/Win32

A release of 2.8.2pre6 is available from:
ftp://crab.it.osha.sut.ac.jp/pub/Win32/develope/senshu/Lynx/
This version differs from the development source for 2.8.2, but compiles on several Win32 compilers.
The patches were done by Senshu Hiroyuki; they are integrated into the development release of Lynx.

Natural Language Support / Internationalization

Lynx supports multiple languages through use of gettext. Some message catalogs (preliminary, incomplete, etc.) are available on http://sol.slcc.edu/lynx/po/ Also read the notes in About NLS.
