our less doesn't allow L/R scrolling,
but then the sysadmin still offers Lynx 2-4-2, having dropped 2-6 !
i gave up trying to contact him long ago,
but may try once more when Lynx 2-8-3 appears.
most seems to have other advantages over less ,
eg presenting man docs with bold a/a over-strike.
