I just did a "K", searched that for cfg, no hits, so I guess
there is no way to read in a (new) cft WHILE LYNX IS RUNNING.

Why "while running"?

Because of the history, the "V" list of all visited-places this
session, etc.

Of course, a "suspend" command, that would write out into some
parsable ascii file all current settings, the V list, the history
list, etc -- that would be pretty nice.  

All the parsing code is probably there already...
