lynx-dev using lynx command line to download jpeg files

I am having trouble downloading jpg files using the lynx command line.
I can download gif files, text files, html files, but have trouble with
jpg format.

This works
lynx -dump http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/comp/latest_cmoll.gif  > my.gif

but this does not
lynx -dump http://www.britannia.org/gallery/Lynxes/clynx.jpg > my.jpg

Anybody know why?
