Financial Times (London) has been using `E',
tho' its currency abbreviations tend to be ugly, eg `C$' for `CAD'.
all currencies have a 3-letter international code -- USD, JPY etc --
& one assumes the Euro is EUE, tho' i haven't seen mention of it yet.
i suggest doing a conversion, as MA suggests, to `E' or `EUE':
there have been earlier reports of problems with the new symbol elsewhere.
