Not surprising given the obsolete version you are using.

V2.3 may well be Y2K compliant because it probably doesn't support any
of the web features that require date calculations.  However, it is
not Y1998 compliant as it cannot cope with most of the HTML abuses that
are currently endemic (and even some useful additions).

The current version (2-8-1 release, 2-8-2 development) will be much more
useable than 2.3 even if there are some residual Y2K problems; there 
probably aren't, and it does definitely have defensive code for Y2K problems
in web servers, however, unless you are prepared to make support payments
comensurate with the risks, I doubt that anyone will go beyond the terms
of the GPL, which state that there is no warranty at all.
