lynx-dev embed src in lynx

Hi all,

I'm blind and can only use lynx for browsing the internet.
I know that netscape can use the html tag <embed src=...> to autostart
a wav-file when you go to a page.
I use it on my homepage, but when I go with lynx to my homepage, I hear
nothing. Is lynx on Linux capable to use this html tag?
