Okay, here's what I did.
Built lynx dev23 with persistent cookies configured in.
Configured $HOME/.lynxrc to accept cookies from yahoo.com.
Created a 600 permission file called cookies that was empty.
Went to http://my.yahoo.com/
Told lynx that I really did want the two erroneous cookies from yahoo
(boy, I wish this step wasn't occuring).
Logged into yahoo.
Typed a ^K
I wasn't sure what to do now, so I went thru and accessed the DOMAIN= links
and indicated I wanted to save these cookies.
I then returned to the yahoo page and exited lynx.
I then returned to the yahoo site.
I see a string of msgs regarding cookie expiration dates streaming by on
stdout, but I can't read them because lynx clears the screen and puts up
the first page.
I wonder if the expirations should be only to the trace file or some other
cookie type page.
Wish list - that I could specify cookie jars in my lynxrc file. I suspect
others would like command line cookie jars, which I take it was in a
patch earlier this week.
However, at least at yahoo, this seemed to work .
