^W was used for REFRESH command. Unless someone begin to implement
multikey commands (or Emacs's 'Meta' modifier) without slang, adding more
editing keys is not likely to happen. And of course, if keystrokes are
more context-sensitive (eg ^W backup 1 word in text edit mode, and REFRESH
in navigation mode), this will relief some of the crowded key bindings as
well.
