FWIW i had no problem anywhere on this page with 2-8pre.2
(i didn't try any of the links);
try the various comment-parsing & tag-soup options.
the best policy with `bad HTML' -- stated or suspected --
is to enter \ & inspect the source yourself,
remembering to use something which shows long lines in full.
