Pretty clear. Telnet clients will sometimes have built-in functions
to manage ftp data transfers, but not usually zmodem or kermit. If
you use genuine Kermit from Columbia as your telnet client there may
be a way to do it. But Kermit 95 costs money.

What are your options? On your computer, do you have any web
browser you can use? If you save the URL from the download site
you found using the Lynx at TRFN, you can go there with the other
browser to download, even if it is a bear to manipulate. When
you have the download link as the selected link, use the equal
key to pull up the information page and get the full URL for the
software you want to download.

If you prefer ftp to doing http from your computer, check around
and see if the software you want is available from an ftp server.

Maybe you could be using Lynx on your own computer. What
operating system are you using?
