yes - but I got sidetracked before updating the web pages (will work on that
tonight).

btw, while we're on the topic:  I think it's best to make a page that
covers both 2.8 and 2.7.2 - essentially move Fote's page & link to that,
with a summary of the differences.  At the moment there's a directory
named 'release', which Fote created, and I think there's room for 2.8
there as well - but the index.html should be adjusted.
